  • بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

    бисмиль-лəhир-рōhмəəнир-рōhиим

    In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

  • 15:1
    الر  ۚ تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ وَقُرْآنٍ مُّبِينٍ

    Алиф, лəм, ра. тилькə əəйəəтуль-китəəби вəќур`əəнимм-мубиин

    Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the signs of the Book and a manifest Quran.

  • 15:2
    رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْ كَانُوا مُسْلِمِينَ

    рубəмəə йəвəддуль-лəз̃иинə кəфəруу лəу кəəнуу муслимиин

    Much will the faithless wish that they had been Muslims.

  • 15:3
    ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُوا وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا وَيُلْهِهِمُ الْأَمَلُ  ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ

    з̃əрhум йə`кулюю вəйəтəмəттə'уу вəйульhиhимуль-əмəль, фəсəуфə йə'лəмуун

    Leave them to eat and enjoy and to be diverted by longings. Soon they will know.

  • 15:4
    وَمَا أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٌ مَّعْلُومٌ

    вəмəə əhлəкнəə миŋŋ-ќōрйəтин ильлəə вəлəhəə китəəбумм-мə'лююм

    We did not destroy any town but that it had a known term.

  • 15:5
    مَّا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ

    мəə тəсбиќу мин уммəтин əджəлəhəə вəмəə йəстə`хыруун

    No nation can advance its time nor can it defer it.

  • 15:6
    وَقَالُوا يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِي نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ الذِّكْرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌ

    вəќōōлюю йəə əййуhəəль-лəз̃ии нуззилə 'əлэйhиз̃-з̃икру иннəкə лəмəджнуун

    They said, ‘O you, to whom the Reminder has been sent down, you are indeed crazy.

  • 15:7
    لَّوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِالْمَلَائِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ

    лəу мəə тə`тиинəə би-ль-мəлəə`икəти иŋŋ-куŋŋтə минəс-сōōдиќиин

    Why do you not bring us the angels should you be truthful?!’

  • 15:8
    مَا نُنَزِّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوا إِذًا مُّنظَرِينَ

    мəə нунəззилюль-мəлəə`икəтə ильлəə би-ль-həќќи вəмəə кəəнуу из̃əмм-муŋŋз̃ōриин

    We do not send down the angels except with due reason, and then they will not be granted any respite.

  • 15:9
    إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ

    иннəə нəhну нəззəльнəəз̃-з̃икрō вə`иннəə лəhу лəhəəфиз̃уун

    Indeed We have sent down the Reminder, and indeed We will preserve it.

  • 15:10
    وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِي شِيَعِ الْأَوَّلِينَ

    вəлəќōд əрсəльнəə миŋŋ-ќōбликə фии шийə'иль-əувəлиин

    Certainly We sent [apostles] before you to former communities,

  • 15:11
    وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ

    вəмəə йə`тииhим-мир-рōсуулин ильлəə кəəнуу биhи йəстəhзи`уун

    and there did not come to them any apostle but that they used to deride him.

  • 15:12
    كَذَ‌ٰلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ

    кəз̃əəликə нəслюкуhу фии ќулююбиль-муджримиин

    That is how We let it pass through the hearts of the guilty:

  • 15:13
    لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ  ۖ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ الْأَوَّلِينَ

    лəə йу`минуунə биh, вəќōд хōлəт суннəтуль-əувəлиин

    they do not believe in it, and the precedent of the ancients has already passed.

  • 15:14
    وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ فَظَلُّوا فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ

    вəлəу фəтəhнəə 'əлэйhимм-бəəбəмм-минəс-сəмəə`и фəз̃ōллюю фииhи йə'руджуун

    Were We to open for them a gate of the sky, so that they could go on ascending through it,

  • 15:15
    لَقَالُوا إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَارُنَا بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌ مَّسْحُورُونَ

    лəќōōлюю иннəмəə суккирōт əбсōōрунəə бəль нəhну ќōумумм-мəсhууруун

    they would surely say, ‘Indeed a spell has been cast on our eyes; indeed, we are a bewitched lot.’

    وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِي السَّمَاءِ بُرُوجًا وَزَيَّنَّاهَا لِلنَّاظِرِينَ

    вəлəќōд джə'əльнəə фиис-сəмəə`и бурууджəу-вəзəййəннəəhəə лин-нəəз̃ыриин

    Certainly We have appointed houses in the sky and adorned them for the onlookers,

    وَحَفِظْنَاهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ رَّجِيمٍ

    вəhəфиз̃нəəhəə миŋŋ-кулли шэйтōōнир-рōджиим

    and We have guarded them from every outcast Satan,

  • 15:18
    إِلَّا مَنِ اسْتَرَقَ السَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ

    ильлəə мəни-стəрōќōс-сəм'ə фə`əтбə'əhу шиhəəбумм-мубиин

    except someone who may eavesdrop, whereat there pursues him a manifest flame.

  • 15:19
    وَالْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَاهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَّوْزُونٍ

    вəəль`əрдō мəдəднəəhəə вə`əльќōйнəə фииhəə рōвəəсийə вə`əмм-бəтнəə фииhəə миŋŋ-кулли шэй`имм-мəузуун

    And We spread out the earth, and cast in it firm mountains, and We grew in it every kind of balanced thing,

  • 15:20
    وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَايِشَ وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُ بِرَازِقِينَ

    вəджə'əльнəə лəкум фииhəə мə'əəйишə вəмəль-лəстум лəhу бирōōзиќиин

    and made in it [various] means of livelihood for you and for those whom you do not provide for.
